PRP ON SCALP

PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma

The blemishes caused by hair loss can cause psychological problems that then undermine self-confidence.

The experienced staff of the Haquos center is well aware of how these problems can negatively interfere in people's daily lives, for this reason it is always at the forefront of the treatments to be proposed in order to offer a wide choice to its patients who can, if well guided, start a highly satisfying beauty journey.

What does it do?

PRP is a non-surgical treatment that stimulates the production of hair follicles by means of capillary growth, effectively intervening on pathologies such as androgenetic alopecia or premature hair loss, brittle hair or situations of both male and female atrophy.

What is that?

Intradermal infiltration of platelet-rich plasma, obtained from a mini sample of the patient's blood (about 20 cc) and then centrifuged with special equipment.

Prp is therefore an autologous solution (specific to the person on whom it is used) and rich in growth factors inside the platelets which, once injected into the scalp, stimulate the stem cells present with regenerative capacity.

How long does it take to see results and how often is the treatment repeated?

The first results are noticeable about a month after the first session. Generally, 2 sessions per month are recommended followed by 4 sessions per year.

Once the annual sessions are over, the results are long-lasting.

However, if new episodes of hair loss recur, it is possible to undergo a new cycle of sessions, once the cause and desired results have been determined with the specialist Haquos.

How is the treatment carried out?

The treatment is carried out on an outpatient basis and takes about 40 minutes.

Since these are micro-injections, some patients may experience pain so most PRPs are performed under local anesthesia.

What time of year is it recommended to carry out the treatment?

You can decide to undergo the treatment at any time of the year.

It is good to keep in mind that immediately after the PRP it will not be possible to wet your hair or use generic hair products, only those prescribed by the Haquos specialist who performed the treatment.

The PRP technique is among the safest and most effective in the world to combat hair loss. Haquos outpatient clinics offer the highest level of equipment suitable for completing the necessary procedures in absolute safety for the patient.
